Jin Shin/Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy
Our mind/body/spirit knows how to heal
I am 15 years into my practice as and what I know for sure is that the ability to heal is inherent in our design as human beings. We heal when we feel a necessary measure of safety (including inner safety & relational safety). When we have that safety, space and support, our systems are free to follow their inherent wisdom and knowing to heal what wants to be healed within us.
The Art of Jin Shin is a gentle Japanese healing practice that uses light hand placements to restore the body's natural energy flow. I hold specific points on the body to release energetic congestion, supporting balance across the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. It's a practice anyone can learn — including on yourself — and with regular use, it becomes a calming way of life that reconnects you to your body's innate ability to heal. At the end of sessions, I like to give you tools you can take and use on your own.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is also a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on therapy performed with light touch while the client lies fully clothed on a massage table. It focuses on supporting the nervous system — which governs all bodily functions — by identifying areas of imbalance and working with the body's inherent capacity to heal itself. Practitioners use refined perceptual skills to help restore ease and reduce symptoms, operating from the belief that health is never truly lost.
When you come in for a session, conversation and directly listening to your system guides the session unfolds. These modalities have immensely improved my health both through prevention and addressing both symptoms & their underlying causes. Sessions can be an hour or 90 minutes depending on you.
